for Windows
Installing Microsoft HTML Help
Unless you have Microsoft HTML Help Version 1.22 or later installed on your system, the Progress Installation utility installs it. You must have one of the following language versions of Windows for the Progress Installation utility to successfully install Microsoft HTML Help: English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, and Brazilian Portuguese. If you are using a different language version of Windows, then the Installation utility cannot install Microsoft HTML Help Version 1.22. In this case you receive a warning message to install Microsoft HTML Help Version 1.22 in the appropriate language.
You can obtain information about acquiring different language versions of Microsoft HTML Help Version 1.22 from Microsoft’s Web site at the following URL:
http://www.microsoft.com/
. You can continue with the installation after viewing the warning message. The Progress Installation utility will install Microsoft HTML Help under the following conditions:
- If Microsoft HTML Help is not already installed on your system and you have one of the six language versions of Windows listed previously, then the installation utility installs Microsoft HTML Help Version 1.22.
- If Microsoft HTML Help Version 1.22 or later is already installed, then the installation utility does not install Microsoft HTML Help.
- If an earlier version of Microsoft HTML Help is already installed and you have one of the six language versions of Windows listed previously, then the installation utility installs Microsoft HTML Help Version 1.22.
