Typical TCP/IP Configuration With a Hard Disk On
Each Machine

Figure 7–11 shows the configuration for a typical network when there is a hard disk on each machine and no file server is used.

When you use this configuration, you must install Progress on each machine in the network. In Figure 7–11, the client machines do not have to be running the same operating system.
