SERVER-CONNECTION-BOUND Attribute

Indicates if the current Application Server session is bound to a particular client application.

Data Type: LOGICAL

Access: Readable

Applies To: SESSION System Handle

This attribute is ignored unless the REMOTE attribute is TRUE.

If the SERVER-CONNECTION-BOUND attribute is TRUE, the current session is bound to a client application. Otherwise, it is FALSE.

On a stateless AppServer, if the SERVER-CONNECTION-BOUND-REQUEST attribute is set to FALSE to unbind the connection, the connection remains bound and the SERVER-CONNECTION-BOUND attribute remains TRUE as long as remote persistent procedures remain active for the connection.

On a state-aware or state-reset AppServer, the SERVER-CONNECTION-BOUND attribute is always set to TRUE.
