prordl() - Read LOGICAL Variable
The
prordl()
function reads the value of a shared LOGICAL variable.On successful completion,
prordl()
returns 0; otherwise, it returns a non-zero value:SYNTAX
psymnam
This input parameter points to the name of the specified shared LOGICAL variable. You supply the name from your Progress application.
index
This input parameter specifies an index value for an array variable. If the variable is not an array, you must set the value of index to 0.
pvar
This output parameter points to a buffer where
prordl()
returns the value of the specified LOGICAL variable. Theprordbl()
function returns 1 if the LOGICAL variable is TRUE, and 0 otherwise.punknown
This output parameter points to an integer where
prordl()
returns 1 if the variable has the unknown value (?), and returns 0 otherwise.SEE ALSO
