Generating an SQL-89 View Report

This option displays information about all PRO/SQL views defined for the working database. Views of non-Progress databases are treated as tables. To display information for these views, use the table reports option. See "Table Tasks," for more information on generating a table report.

Follow these steps to generate a PRO/SQL view report:

  1. Choose PRO/SQL PRO/SQL View Report or choose Database Reports PRO/SQL View Report. Progress alphabetically lists all the views defined for your database.
  2. Select a view or type ALL. Progress generates the report.
  3. Choose the Print button if you want to print the report or write it to a file. The Print Options dialog box appears:
    1. Specify the report destination. If you want to save the report to a file, specify the filename and whether to append the report to an existing file.
    2. Specify the page length, then choose OK. Progress sends the report to the specified output destination and returns you to the SQL View Report dialog box.
  4. Choose OK to return to the Data Dictionary main window:
