Running the WebClient Application Assembler

The WebClient Application Assembler is a Progress PRO*Tool and is part of your Progress development environment. Before you run the WebClient Application Assembler, you should read the design chapters in this guide and make your decisions about how you want to deliver and install the application on your end users’ machines. When you run the WebClient Application Assembler, you are presented with a number of screens in which you provide information about your application install based on the design decisions you make.

Follow these steps to run the WebClient Application Assembler:

  1. Choose PRO*Tools from the Tools menu.
  2. The PRO*Tools menu bar opens.

  3. From the menu bar, choose WebClient Application Assembler.
  4. The WebClient Assembler, shown in Figure 7–1, opens.
