Date Format (-d)
dateform
The format used to display dates in an application.
Use Date Format (-d) to specify the format used to display dates in an application using a three-character string of the letters: d, m, and y in any order. Note that -d sets the display format and not the storage format, which is fixed. Note that the date constants entered in procedures, or as initial values in the Data Dictionary, are always specified in month/day/year format.
