R-code
R-code is the executable code that Progress generates when you compile Progress source code.
This section briefly covers:
- R-code portability and operating system-specific statements
- R-code-imposed limits on program size
- Using cyclic redundancy checks (CRCs) instead of time stamps to enforce consistency between schema and trigger
- Choosing r-code or encrypted source code to ship to customers
- Byte-order of integers in r-code
