Modifying a Procedure
The Progress/400 Data Dictionary allows you to modify DB2/400 stored procedure definitions.
Follow these steps to modify a stored procedure definition:
- Choose the Procedure mode button in the Progress/400 Data Dictionary main window.
- Choose Modify Schema.
- Select a stored procedure from the stored procedure list.
- Choose the Procedure Properties button. The following dialog box appears:

- Modify the fields to change the definition for the DB2/400 program. Choose the Help button to access detailed information on all of the elements in the dialog box.
- Choose OK to return to the Progress/400 Data Dictionary.
You modified the data definitions in the server schema on the AS/400. Your server schema now contains an object that is not reflected in the client schema holder until you synchronize it.
