Set Progress/400 Environment (SETPROENV)

The SETPROENV command sets up environment variables used by the AppServer. The SETPROENV command accepts the parameters shown in Table 10–2:

PROPATH
Enter directories separated by commas (,). The directories are prepended to the default Progress/400 propath.

The SETPROENV command affects the environment variables shown in Table 10–3.

ADMSVRSBS
ADMSVRSBS names the Progress/400 AdminServer subsystem. You cannot change this value.
CLASSPATH
The default Java CLASSPATH for the Progress/400 product. This value can be changed, but nothing should be removed.
DLC
This value is taken from the Progress/400 installation. It is the directory where your DBA installed Progress/400. Typically the directory name follows the convention /PROGRESS/V91A
JREHOME
The Progress/400 product defines this variable, which matches the DLC variable.
PROMSGS
The location of the PROMSGS file in the root file system, which Progress always sets to $DLC/promsgs.
PROPATH
This is the default PROPATH for Progress/400. Enter directory names separated by commas (,). Progress/400 prepends your list to the PROPATH.
QIBM_MULTI_THREADED
Causes the OS/400 QSHELL interpreter to start with multi-threaded capabilities. Progress/400 sets this value to Y. This value must not change.
QIBM_CHILD_JOB_SNDINQMSG
Progress/400 sets this value to 0. This value must not change.
WRKDIR
Specified when you install the Progress/400 products.
