Disconnecting a Database

Follow these steps to disconnect a database:

  1. Choose Database Disconnect. If you have more than one database connected, Progress displays the Select Database to Disconnect dialog box.
  2. Select the database you want to disconnect from the database selection list, then press RETURN. Progress displays an alert box prompting you to verify the disconnect.
  3. Choose Yes to disconnect the selected database.
  4. If you have more than one database connected, the Select Working Database dialog box appears and lets you select another database as the working database.

NOTE: If you disconnect a schema holder, Progress also disconnects all of the schema holder’s corresponding non-Progress databases.
