Separating Topics
After opening a file in a text editor, you can start creating topics. Within the help topic file, a help topic begins with one or more footnote control codes and ends with a page break. Figure 3–2 shows three topics in the same help topic file. Notice that each help topic in the topic file is separated by a page break.

Follow these steps to insert a page break between topics using MS-Word. (If you are using a different RTF text editor, please see its documentation for how to perform the equivalent text formatting.)
- Place the insertion point between the topics.
- Choose Insert
Break.
The Break dialog box appears.
- Choose Page Break.
- Choose OK.
You should see a dotted line (see Figure 3–2 ) indicating that MS-Word has inserted a page break.
