Debugger Guide
Exiting in Application Mode
When you are debugging the initial application in application mode, you can terminate the debugging session in the following circumstances:
- When the initial application is run from the Procedure Editor, the application returns to the Procedure Editor and the Debugger window clears from the display.
- When the initial application is run from the AppBuilder, the application returns to the AppBuilder and the Debugger window clears from the display.
- When you are using the DEBUGGER handle in the initial application to initialize and invoke the Debugger at a breakpoint, the application returns to the environment where you started it, and the Debugger remains on the display or clears from the display if the application invokes the DEBUGGER:CLEAR( ) method.
For more information on debugging sessions run from the Editor and AppBuilder, see Starting and Stopping the Debugger." For more information on debugging sessions run in application mode using the DEBUGGER handle, see DEBUGGER and SESSION System Handles."
