Before You Begin

Before you begin the uninstallation process, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure that your Microsoft IIS or Netscape Web server is shut down.
  2. Using the Progress Explorer, shut down all WebSpeed services (brokers, NameServers, and databases).
  3. From the Windows desktop, select Start Settings Control Panel Services.
  4. Highlight the Progress AdminService, and choose Startup. The Service dialog box appears.
  5. Change the startup from Automatic to Manual, and choose OK.
  6. NOTE: If these same services will be required for a new installation, be sure to note any configuration settings, agent parameters, etc.
