Ending a Session

To log out of the ESQL-LIB interface and end your ESQL session, call the sqllogout() function. This function closes all open connections to databases and logs out of the ESQL-LIB interface, ending your ESQL session (however, it does not exit your application). Once you call sqllogout(), you can make no other calls to ESQL-LIB except sqlgetmsg() without exiting to the operating system and restarting your application.

NOTE: The sqllogout() function also rolls back any uncommitted work. For more information on managing transactions, see the "Managing Transactions in ESQL" section.
