Copying an Existing Terminal Entry

Use the tc (terminal copy) command when you are defining a new terminal entry that is similar to an existing entry. The command appends the specifications for the similar terminal to the new entry, so you do not have to retype the similar information.

The tc command takes a string, as shown in the following example:

:tc=terminal-name 

Follow these guidelines when using the tc command:

For example, the following code fragment is a terminal entry for a Wyse 370 in 132 column mode. The entry specifies the name of the terminal, a terminal initialization sequence, the number of columns, and then uses tc to append the specifications for the Wyse 370 terminal:

wy370-132:Wyse 370 in 132 column mode:\
