Progress
Startup Command and Parameter
Reference
Debugger (-debug)
Use Debugger (-debug) to start a Progress session by running the Progress Debugger in stand-alone mode. This makes the Debugger (not the Procedure Editor) the point of entry for all application procedures to run. The Debugger begins by allowing breakpoints before using the Debugger RUN command to execute the startup procedure. Also, Progress automatically sets a breakpoint on the first executable line of the startup procedure before it runs.
For more information on the Debugger, see the Progress Debugger Guide.
