Windows Session Parameters

Use the parameters listed in Table 3–7 to control a Windows session.

Parameter
Syntax
Purpose
Registry Base Key 1
-basekey name
Identify the registry basekey to use for environment information.
Event Level
-evtlevel value
Specify the level of information written to the NT Event Log.
Initialization File 1
-ininame name
Identify the initialization registry sub-key or the application’s initialization (.INI) file.
Windows Passthrough Printing 1
-Wa -wpp
Enable Windows Passthrough Printing mode.
Windows Single Session
-wss
Limit a Windows GUI user to running one client session at a time.
Windows Exit - No Dialog
-wy
Prevent prompt for confirmation when Windows shuts down while Progress is active.
  1. You can only use this parameter on the command line. It is not supported in a parameter (.pf) file.
