Starting and Stopping the NT Broker Process
On an NT host machine, you can use the ProControl utility to start and stop DataServer modules, if you used ProControl to configure a broker, or you can issue commands at the MS-DOS prompt.
Follow these steps to run the DataServer modules on NT using ProControl:

- Set the environment variables described in Table 4–2.
- Start the broker by entering this command at the MS-DOS prompt:
- Stop the broker by entering this PROSHUT command:
