n

An integer specifying the threshold, in MB.

Use Recovery Log Threshold (-bithold) to set the maximum size to which recovery log files can grow. The recommended threshold is between 3% and 100% of the largest possible recovery log file size, rounded to the nearest cluster boundary. If the threshold is set above 1000MB, Progress issues a warning message to the display and the database log (.lg) file. Once the threshold is reached, the database performs an emergency shutdown. See the Progress Database Administration Guide and Reference for more information about recovery logs.
