The Use OS Locale (-useOsLocale) parameter sets certain default localization options in Progress clients. It causes Progress to set the SESSION system handle attributes shown in Table 4–3 based on the current Windows locale settings. The table also shows the startup parameters that individually affect the value of each attribute.

If any of the startup parameters shown in the table appear on the same command line with the -useOsLocale parameter, any that follow -useOsLocale override the setting from -useOsLocale and any that -useOsLocale follows are overridden by the setting from -useOsLocale.
