Debugger Guide


Debugger Window

The Debugger window is your primary means of interaction with the Debugger. It operates independently of any window used by your application. From the Debugger window you can control most features of the Debugger, from setting breakpoints to listing and executing procedures under Debugger control.

The Debugger window provides several components, including panels, menus, and buttons that you can use to invoke Debugger commands and view the results. You can configure these components in various ways, such as the sizes of the panels and the identities and functions of the buttons, and save the configuration for future debugging sessions.

The functional layout of the Debugger window is generally the same in all supported window systems. However, there are some minor variations. Any differences are described in this chapter.
