Generating a Quick Index Report
Follow these steps to generate a quick index report:
- Choose Database
Reports
Quick Index. Progress alphabetically lists all the tables defined for your database.
- Select a table or type ALL, then press RETURN. Progress generates the report and displays the Quick Index Report dialog box.
- Choose one of the following options:
- Choose Switch Tables to generate a quick index report for another table. Progress alphabetically lists all the tables.
- Choose Print to print the report or write it to a file. The Print Options dialog box appears:
- Specify the report destination. If you want to save the report to a file, specify the filename and whether to append the report to an existing file.
- Specify the page length, then choose OK. Progress sends the report to the specified output destination and returns you to the Quick Index Report dialog box.
- Choose OK to return to the Data Dictionary window.
