Debugger Guide
STOP Command
Immediately terminates the executing application as if it invoked the 4GL STOP statement.
SYNTAX
NOTES
- As with the 4GL STOP statement, any active transaction is backed out before the application terminates.
- If the application was started from the Debugger with the RUN command, it terminates by returning control to the Debugger.
- If the application was started together with the Debugger in application mode, it terminates by closing the Debugger window and returning control to the application startup environment (for example, Procedure Editor or AppBuilder). If the application was invoked from the operating system using the Startup Procedure (-p) startup parameter, and the Debugger was started in application mode from the 4GL using the DEBUGGER handle, the application terminates by closing the Debugger window and then restarting the startup procedure (unless the STOP is trapped by an ON STOP statement).
