Disconnecting a Database

When you disconnect a database, that database is no longer available to other Progress tools and applications and the schema is no longer available in the Data Dictionary.

Follow these steps to disconnect a database:

  1. Choose Database Disconnect. Progress displays a dialog box and prompts you to verify that you want to disconnect:
  2. Choose Yes. The Databases selection list no longer lists the sports database.
  3. Reconnect the sports database so that it is available for the next exercise.
