Selecting Fields For the Query

  1. Choose the Next button on the External Tables page. (You will not be selecting any External Tables to complete this report.)
  2. Page 4 appears and allows you to select the fields for your query:

  3. Choose the Add Fields button. The Column Editor dialog box appears.
  4. Choose the Add button. The Multi-Field Selector dialog box appears.
  5. Select the following fields from the Available Fields selection list: Allocated, Onhand, OnOrder, ItemName, Itemnum, and Price.
  6. Choose the Add button to move the fields into the Selected Fields list. In the report, fields appear in the same order as in the Selected Fields list.
  7. To change the order of the Selected Fields list, select a field, then use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to move the fields in the list.
  8. The fields should appear in the report in the following order: ItemName, Itemnum, Price, Onhand, OnOrder, and Allocated, as shown below.

  9. Choose OK, then choose OK on the Column Editor dialog box.
  10. Page 4 reappears, with the selected fields listed.

  11. Choose the Next button.
  12. Page 5, the Style page, appears.
