Managing the Progress/400 NameServer and Progress/400 AppServer

Progress/400 does not provide local utilities for managing the Progress/400 NameServer or Progress/400 AppServer instances. Therefore, you use either the Progress Explorer tool or remote management utilities to query the status of any running Progress/400 NameServer or Progress/400 AppServer instances. You can also use the Progress Explorer tool to shut down any running Progress/400 NameServer or Progress/400 AppServer instance.
