Product Guide
Triggers
Database triggers are code that an application associates with a database object and an action. For example, writing a record can cause code associated with that object or action to execute. DB2/400 supports insert before and after, update before and after, and delete before and after triggers. Your database files can contain DB2/400 triggers and Progress triggers that you added using the Progress/400 Data Dictionary tool.
