Database Design Issues

The Progress/400 product allows an application to access data stored in DB2/400 database files. When you create or modify the Progress or DB2/400 databases that your applications access, you might have to consider issues such as Progress and DB2/400 database objects, naming conventions, indexes, and views. The following sections discuss the differences between Progress and DB2/400 in these areas and explain how the DataServer deals with them.
