Debugger Guide

Using the LOG and CANCEL LOG Commands

You can turn on Debugger logging any time the Debugger has control by entering the LOG command. Logging continues throughout the Debugging session until you turn it off by entering the CANCEL LOG command or exiting the Debugger. At any time, you can turn logging on again with the LOG command. If you already have logging turned on and enter the LOG command for a different file, the Debugger automatically turns off logging to the previous log file and continues logging to the new file.

Every time you restart logging, the Debugger replaces the previous session history with the current history starting at the point you enter the LOG command, unless you specify a different log filename. If you specify a different file, the new session history goes into the new log file with no effect on previous log files.
