Managing Help Topic Files
A help system can be compiled from one or more help topic files. As the help author, you must decide how many help topic files to create. If you are working alone, you may choose to put all your help topics in a single file. Conversely, if you are working with several writers, you might find it more convenient to create a separate help topic file for each writer. Or you might create help topic files based on the structure or content of the information, such as creating a separate file for each menu in your application or for each printed manual that is shipped with your application.
As long as you code each help topic correctly and identify all the help topic files required in your help system within the help project file, the help compiler will successfully compile all the information into a single help file.
