Debugger Guide
Quick Tutorial
To provide a sense of how to run a debugging session, this chapter presents a short tutorial using a modified sample procedure from the Progress Programming Handbook. To use this tutorial, you must have the Progress Application Debugger installed in your Progress environment. The figures in the tutorial include examples from all supported user interfaces, including character mode where applicable. Most Debugger window examples are shown in Windows, except where they explicitly illustrate a comparison with the corresponding Debugger window in OSF/Motif.
NOTE: Since the Progress Debugger is a GUI-based tool, it must run in OSF/ Motif on UNIX platforms.This chapter describes:
