Uninstalling the Shared Network Installation Utility
You can use an uninstall utility to quickly uninstall a Progress shared network installation. All the products that you previously installed for this Progress version are removed.
Follow these steps to uninstall the Progress shared network installation:
- From the desktop, choose Start
Settings
Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel Group, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. The Add/Remove Program Properties dialog box appears.
- Select the Install/Uninstall tab. The Uninstall utility dialog box appears.
- From the list of installed programs, select the Progress 9 Shared Network Installation. Choose Add/Remove. The Confirm File Deletion dialog box appears.
- Choose Yes to confirm that you want to delete the Progress 9 Shared Network Installation from your client machine. The Remove Programs From Your Computer dialog box appears.
- Choose OK to exit the Uninstall utility.
NOTE: When the usage count on a shared system file reaches 0, a Shared File warning dialog box appears. Follow the instructions in the dialog box.
