Debugger Guide

Working with Inactive Procedures

If you are setting or removing breakpoints in an inactive procedure, you might find it helpful to display the debug listing for the procedure in the listing panel using the FILE command. Note that breakpoint indicators appear in the procedure listing even if the procedure is inactive. However, the breakpoints indicated are on the specified lines, not necessarily on the effective executable lines. The effective breakpoints are indicated when you actually run the procedure. For more information on the FILE command, see the "Displaying Debugger and Session Information" section.
