Progress
SQL-89
Guide and Reference
Exporting Data
In Progress/SQL, you can convert data to standard character format and display it to the current output destination or to a named output stream using the WITH EXPORT clause of the SELECT statement. This clause works exactly like the Progress EXPORT statement.
The following example converts all of the values in the customer table into a standard character format and sends them to the file
customer.d
.
The code in this example is equivalent to the following Progress code.
